Donna Hutchinson

Donna Hutchinson is a Speech Language Pathologist in the Therapy & Rehabilitative Care Department, serving the Columbia area. She provides speech and language therapy services to young children with developmental disabilities, focusing on teaching verbal behavior and communication skills, whether the child is nonverbal or struggling to be intelligible. Donna holds a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of South Carolina and has over 20 years of experience working with young children in their natural environment, utilizing a variety of modalities including simple signs, augmentative communication, and speech to improve communication abilities. She loves helping children learn to communicate and supporting their families, and also appreciates the support she receives from the agency. In her free time, Donna enjoys living in the country and observing wildlife, and is learning to identify many birds.
