As President and CEO of Easterseals South Carolina, Deanna Lewis brings over 30 years of experience in the disability field and an unwavering commitment to helping children with disabilities reach their full potential. For the past 22 years, she has led Easterseals SC with vision, integrity, and a deep belief in the power of community-based support.
Before joining Easterseals, Deanna served as Director of Children’s Services at the South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs, where she worked to improve statewide programs and services for children with developmental delays and disabilities. Her leadership extends beyond the state—she has chaired the Easterseals Southeast Region and the Affiliate Leadership Network, representing 74 Easterseals affiliates across the country. These roles have given her a national perspective on what it takes to build strong programs that truly serve families.
At Easterseals SC, Deanna focuses on building a strong and sustainable future. She is passionate about strengthening programs, expanding access to services, and ensuring that every decision the organization makes centers the children and families who depend on them. Under her leadership, Easterseals SC continues to be a trusted partner to families across the state—known for its high standards, compassionate care, and commitment to inclusion.
