Carolyn Anderson

Carolyn Anderson is an Occupational Therapist who helps children and families identify strengths and overcome obstacles to growth. With a Bachelor's in Anthropology and a decade in IT, she combines analytical skills with a desire to help children. She earned her Master's of Occupational Therapy from the University of Washington in 2010 and has experience in outpatient clinics and schools. Carolyn believes in helping children express their feelings and reach their full potential, using self-regulation and sensory tools with a strengths- and interest-based approach. She enjoys seeing children engage in learning with freedom and curiosity, celebrating their successes, and helping them manage distress. Outside of work, Carolyn enjoys running, music, nature, and the outdoors. Her favorite quote from ee cummings is: "To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best night and day to make you everybody else means to fight the hardest battle any human being can fight and never stop fighting."
