At Easterseals South Carolina, our Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) work under the guidance of licensed Physical Therapists to help children improve movement and function. Using family-centered, play-based activities, PTAs empower children to reach their mobility goals and participate fully in everyday life.

What PTAs Do

• Carry out therapy plans designed by licensed Physical Therapists.
• Help children build strength, coordination, balance, and mobility.
• Use fun, engaging activities that make therapy enjoyable and effective.
• Partner with families to model exercises and strategies for use at home.
